CAO's Message
It should be no secret to anyone that there is a dire need of urgency to educate our children in a way that would allow them to blossom, maximize their potentials by excelling in their academic endeavors and social skills. We cannot afford to continue on the complacent and risky path of educational starvation of our children in this shrinking global community of the 21st century.
To this end, it is our commitment here at Benjamin Banneker Charter Academy of Technology to equip our students with the knowledge and skills they need to compete with their world's counterparts locally, nationally, and internationally. This commitment is central to our mission and it is considered as a non-negotiable moral and professional responsibility. Our children truly deserve the right to a world class education and we owe them that. Failure to live up to these expectations would be irresponsible on our part as educators.
We call upon all our stake holders (parents, teachers, administrators, community members) to join hands and help uplift our children to the highest level of achievement possible. That is what it takes for a community or village or a city to “raise” a child.
Sincerely,
Martin Ngom, PhD
Chief Academic Officer
