Superintendent's Message
Our instructional effort is central to our identity and the way we serve the educational needs of our community. As teachers in a professional setting, we devote a major portion of our energy to the development and implementation of quality educational strategies that reflect best practices in education. Our ultimate goal is to educate all students in ways that enhance their ability to compete with other students on a local and national level.
Keys to Success
- Use measurable objectives to establish a culture of achievement;
- Develop a clear vision in that every teacher has to be held personally responsible for the achievement of each student;
- Employ master teachers (an indicator for student success);
- Embrace time on task;
- Encourage use of effective practices;
- Facilitate parental involvement;
- Provide ongoing training for teachers;
- Advocate ongoing student assessments;
- Ensure accountability for all; and above all
- Teach, Teach, Teach, the children!!!
